This is my handsome man Simon! |
Tools:
- You can use just about any blanket/towel. I went to the local dollar store and bought a baby blanket, my cats LOVE super soft blankies!
- Scissors or a knife (used to make holes in the blanket and cut yarn)
- Thick/strong yarn, string, really anything that's long and can be strong enough to hold your pet
- A crochet hook can help pull the yarn/string/ect through the blanket/towel
- Hooks if you're not planning to tie your hammock to the under part of a table
- Redbull optional
- Elastic bands if you are braiding and tying to a table to help hold the yarn/string/ect to the table

- Take your blanket/towel and fold it to the size you would like, then cut holes on all four corners right beneath the corners
- Thread the yarn/string/material through your holes, if you are tying your hammock to a table you can braid or crochet a nice pattern, if you are just hanging or pinning it to something, you just need to tie a few knots
- Once your four corners are tied/braided, you can attach the hooks if you are hooking it, to make sure the hook will interlock and support the hammock
- Install/tie and allow you pet to explore the hammock themselves, if you just throw them in it - which I attempted to do - they'll just take longer to use it
